MLM Time Management – Spare Time and No Commitment
When I first started building a home-based business, I didn't take it very serious. Some days I worked a little, some days I worked a lot, and some days I didn't work at all. After all I had a income from my full-time job and so the pressure wasn't really on for me to perform at my best. What I discovered was that I didn't make a very good business owner. I didn't put a lot of money into getting started with my home-based business and I suppose on some levels I wasn't convinced that it would ever work. My home-based business was more like just wishful thinking.
An MLM Coach Can Make You Do Things You Would Never Do On Your Own
Fortunately for myself, I had a great coach and he drove me. My success in my home base business was a direct result of me working my business the same way I worked at my job. I set my hours that I could work, controlled my interruptions as much as possible and focused on results. I made a decision to make my mlm business work, but in reality it was a decision to make me work. Over the months and years that followed I saw a lot of people come into my business that started the same way as I did, but many never made a decision as I had and consequently they gave up on their dream of firing their boss.
…. And Then I Discovered An MLM Master Mind Group
One of the best ways I believe, to have success is to surround yourself with successful people. They already have the habits that you need to develop in yourself and by being around them, their mojo can't help but rub off on you. If you don't have a strong coach or team to be part of but want to make your business work, then join a Master mind group. Every Wednesday night a group of top marketers from various network marketing companies get together and share the strategies that they use to build their businesses. The calls are very informal and a lot of fun and all you have to do is simply listen and take notes. There's no pitch, is nothing to buy, although if you want to use the tools that they use to build your business you can. The call is on Wednesdays at 7 Mountain /8 Central 9 Eastern and you can register by clicking on http://www.ChuckGuyett.com/webinar .
Managing Your Time: Tips And Tricks
Time management is something that most people will find useful. It's just valuable in that it can help you to get things done quickly. If you're wanting to learn about this then you'll need a little information. Keep reading here and you'll get that information that you need before starting.
To better manage the time you have in a day, have a plan for it! Always sit down the night before and make a list of what you must get done. Prioritize everything on the list and cross tasks off one by one as you accomplish them. Get into this habit, and you should reach more goals and have more time in the day.
Work ahead of time to get things done. Write an agenda for the day ahead. As your day ends, create tomorrow's to-do list. It's a lot easier to dive right into your work if you already have it laid out in front of you!
Take some time to schedule some time for your interruptions. You need to be able to plan some time that you can be taken away from from the tasks you're working on. For instance, maintaining concepts similar to “office hours.” Office hours can be thought of as planned interruptions.
Build time in your day for unforeseen interruptions. It's time to own the fact that you can't control what happens every minute. Things happen, whether you want them to or not. So add in buffer time into your schedule to handle these moments. That way, at the end of the day, you'll still feel accomplished!
Do not rush through your day. If you rush through things and make mistakes, it is going to take you far longer to fix those mistakes than it would have for you to do it right the first time. Slow and careful work will be more productive than rushed, sloppy work.
To perfect your personal system of time management, take a moment to catalog the most common time-wasting activities you engage in. Whether you prefer to check your e-mail, surf the web, or hang out in the break room, you should identify the behaviors you practice when you're dodging work. In the future, when you notice yourself initiating these time-wasting processes, stop and remind yourself that you have important work to do!
Believe it or not, breaks can help you get your work done faster. If you are stressing out about what needs to get done, you are not focusing on the task at hand. Take a break when you feel overwhelmed and come back to the project when you are refreshed.
Make it a habit to hold on communication until you're done the things that take the most focus. Emails and telephone calls are huge interrupting forces when it comes to time management. You may think that you need to answer every email as it comes in, but really you don't! Hold them until you're done your current work. It's a much better use of time.
Once you realize what goes into time management, you can get started. You'll be able to use it in most areas of your life which is something that should be clear to you now. Just make sure you read over this article again if you have any questions and you should be good to go!
