When you first start out in your Network Marketing MLM Home Business it can feel at times like you have a little shovel and you have to move an entire mountain. You wonder to yourself if it is even possible given the massive task that you have at hand. You are overwhelmed with product information do you have to learn, a presentation scripts you have to memorize and be able to speak it so fluently that it sounds like you’re just having a normal conversation. You’re told to create a list of names and you find yourself breaking into a cold sweat as you doubt your first friend’s phone number. For many that get involved in network marketing they’re experiencing all these emotions and attempting to complete all these activities as they manage their life with a family, a social life and a job.



It’s not surprising that so many people fail when they get involved in a Network Marketing MLM Home Business because they have no idea the amount of commitment the amount of commitment required to succeed. The fellow who buys a mom and pop restaurant each morning shows up at 6 AM to get his soup and salads prepared for the coming day. I personally know what it’s like to have that kind of commitment because a short time ago I owned a restaurant. The novelty of being my own boss was quickly replaced with a six-day workweek comprised of 12 of 14 hour days. So much for novelty being in business requires commitment and perseverance.



Okay so you now know everything you need to know about your products and services; you can repeat your script forward and backward in your sleep and you’ve finished writing your list of names and are feeling very comfortable on the phone now. Your first hurdle is over and your second hurdle has just begun, you’re now about to enter the Valley of death. I call it the Valley of death because it’s during this point in your network marketing business that most people fail. They don’t fail because of their company and they don’t fail because of their product knowledge and they don’t even fail because they were afraid to call their friends and family. They fail because they weren’t committed enough to stay with it. In the example I gave above with owning a restaurant your investment could be anywhere from $50,000-$1 million plus.



We have a sizable investment in something your commitment tends to be much greater than if you only had three or $400 in something. But let’s say for the sake of argument that you got some coaching and even though you’re struggling you have decided that you’re not going to quit no matter what. The next hurdle that you have to deal with is a lack of people to talk to. This hurdle may well be the greatest of them all because without a lot of people to share your Network Marketing MLM Home Business opportunity with the chances of your success is zero.
