There are some people within network marketing that have tremendous success while the majority never even make $1000 in their business. So what is the MLM success strategy that the leaders use that the others do not, that makes up the difference in success? What is the elusive mystery that only the elite know? How is it that some people come into the business having no network marketing background and become a huge success within their first year? Can there be a common denominator between the seasoned leaders and the new person that comes in and becomes a success in their first year?

The MLM success strategy that these two share to create such significant success is attraction marketing. So what exactly is attraction marketing? Before I answer that question I want to share with you what I thought success in marketing really was all about. I believed that the key to success was to join the business that had the products or services that sold themselves. Then when I added quantum growth to the mix, I would be rich within six months. I saw a person stand at the front of a room and draw a bunch of circles and lines and he made it getting rich in network marketing sound very simple. The concept of geometric growth is simple to understand; however, theory and application are not always equal.

Why was it that the person at the front of the room was able to attract people effortlessly into his business while I had to spend hours trying to convince people? Once again, the answer is attraction marketing! Attraction marketing is simply creating a marketing environment where your prospect feels compelled to join your business with you. You become so irresistible to your prospect that they will call you and ask you if they can join your business. To some, having people call you and ask to be in your business might sound like a fantasy, but is not.

Everyone that joins a given network marketing company has a level playing field. By this I mean they have the same products, the same compensation plan, the same marketing tools, the same opportunity and the same cost to join. The difference is that the person who uses attraction marketing gives people a sense of confidence and assurance that by teaming up with them, they will have a greater chance at success. Everyone wants to align themselves with the winner and not a loser. Imagine if you had one person making $100,000 per month and one person making $1000 every three months offer to coach you, which one would you want to join with if they both offered to teach you everything that they know? Not much of a question is it?

So what does a person have to gain by joining you, particularly since you just got started yourself and really have no success story to share with anyone? Rather than use your success as the reason for someone to join with you, use your affiliation with a top income earner. If you’re not working with the top income earner, then today would be a good day to introduce yourself to one. Now let me just add this – people are not duplicateable but systems are. Even if you are not able to associate yourself personally with a top income earner you can still get connected with top income earners who are part of a mastermind system. A mastermind approach brings together successful people for the mutual benefit of having even greater success as a collective. It has been said many times that if you want to have more, you must become more. Associating with a mastermind group can give you skills that are critical to your success, that you may never get any other way.
