There are many ways to generate quality leads for your business and some methods are easy to do some require a lot of Web Savvy and Marketing Know-How, there are some approaches that just require you to purchase lists of names for calling or emailing, some that would have you simply post advertisements, or even leave cards with a compelling “Call To Action” in various places you travel around to.

Over the last ten years I have used a long list of reaching out methods but this summer I came across an approach that I found to be simple to do – no “techno savvy” required, totally free to do and does not require you to leave your home yet can have you talking to potential prospects within minutes anywhere in the world.

In a similar way that people prospect in their local communities or as they travel and come into contact with folks that appear to be potential prospects an introductory conversation would ensue. The network marketer would qualify the person to be a candidate for their business and often this filtering process would take place without the prospect even being aware that it is occurring. This same conversation would take place using Social Media sites.

Monetize Facebook, Myspace and LinkedIn

There are a rapidly growing number of people using platforms like Facebook and Myspace to accomplish this prospecting activity and having stellar success. Some folks have taken their prospecting to the extreme and have their company and promotional info covering their pages together with their daily communication stream and having little if no success. So while it is obvious that there are definite right and wrong ways to do market one’s business on these Social Media sites this approach is proving to be a very quick and inexpensive way to create a recruiting frenzy in one’s business.
