MLM Success Strategy – Mind Over Goal
Who else wants to earn $10,000 per month this year? We have people earning it right now!
When we think about creating goals we often think of New Year’s resolutions and broken commitments to lose weight or quit smoking or quit drinking or some other vice. Every year we joke about what we’re going to accomplish in the New Year; however, the trouble is we don’t take our commitments seriously. So why do we make resolutions and then within a week or two up?
We give up because were not prepared to pay the price. Bob Proctor said that when we set goals one of the first things that we ask our self is: “Am I able?” Both science and theology both agree that human beings have infinite potential, so then the answer is absolutely I am able. However the bigger question is “Am I willing to pay the price?”
I used to think of goals as targets that I would set for myself to accomplish. When I would decide on a goal I would create based on what I knew I could achieve. Proctor says that this is where most people form their goals [based on what they know they can achieve]. A slightly riskier goal setter puts forward goals that he believes he can achieve. The problem with both of these levels of goal setting is that they promote under achievement.
Walt Disney had a dream of what could be and then created the reality. Vincent van Gogh said once I dream the painting and then paint the dream. When we were children we never placed limits on what our imagination could achieve. As we grew older the adults in our life and our educational system told us that we need to get realistic about things. Yet nothing in this world has ever been created to did not first start off as an idea. You don’t have to know how you’re going to achieve something but that’s where most people start.
Decide how much money you want to earn and when you set the amount it needs to be what you want not what you think you can achieve or what you know you can achieve. Begin with your goal and then give it serious thought. As you contemplate your goal you will begin to form ideas and strategies as well as attract to you the resources that you need to achieve your objective.
Don’t worry what other people will think about your goals and whether they’re based in reality or not. Earl Nightingale once said that if people said what they were thinking they would be speechless. Price Prichard said that the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. You have chosen to be an entrepreneur which sets you apart from everyone else. To be successful you see what could be not what is. As for what other people think consider this they don’t pay your bills you do.
We are often reluctant to move forward with a big dream for fear of failure. Our conscious mind acts like a military force trying to prevent disappointment. You have infinite ability and you have infinite resources. But as Bob Proctor says, “… in order to move forward you must be prepared to sacrifice something of a lower nature to receive something of a higher nature.”
So my MLM success strategy for you is that you get excited, decide on your goals, create plans to achieve your objectives and work your strategies until you receive the things you set out to achieve. And don’t mistake failure as a conclusion it’s only part of the journey. Oh and one other thing stop saying: “I don’t need to be rich I just want……” there is nothing immoral about wealth the more money you have the more you can give to do good works. This year make your monthly pay check last year’s annual income. It’s okay if your goals make you nervous – in fact it’s absolutely necessary.
