Titanic MLM Success Strategy Be a Titanic or Be a Titan



I want to share with you some MLM success strategies that could save you your business and years of making the same mistakes that I did. It is a sad reality that most people that go into business for themselves don’t make even $100 in network marketing. Most people that join a network marketing will quit their business in their first 90 days. If you can internalize this, it will be a huge load off your conscience because you don’t have to feel like you failed your new consultant.



One of the guys that I know is a top recruiter and often says that you must  have the skin of an alligator and the heart of a Lamb. I thought for the longest time that there must be some way that I can help reduce the attrition and while there are things you can do most people simply give up too easily.



Don’t Recruit People for Your New Consultant- you might put people’s names underneath this consultant but it is unlikely that they will bond together. Your new person feels like a castaway and the person who is the recipient of this new consultant will become dependent on your recruiting to build their business.



Encourage Regular Contact with Your New Consultant- Most people that begin their own marketing business come from an employee background rather than an entrepreneurial one. The problem with an employee mentality is that they tend to wait until they are directed to do something. This may be a major contributing factor to their ultimate failure. They are used to being told what to, do when to do it, how to do it, where to do it, and for how long. New consultants often wait for their sponsor to call them rather than taking charge of their business and making things happen. Tell your new consultant that they are not a bother and let them know that you are committed to helping them. Let them know that there is no such thing as a dumb question.



Have Your New Consultant write down Their “Why Statement “and a Commitment to Stay in the Business for a Minimum of 12 Months. Most network marketing businesses can be started with less than $1000 and so it makes it very easy to give up since their life will be relatively unaffected. If they had to remortgage their home in order to do the business getting a 12 month commitment would never even come up because they would be focusing on 5 to 10 years with their business. When things are going rough being reminded of why we’re doing our business can keep us in the game. When we write our commitments down on paper we increase the likelihood of fulfilling them.



Make Your Main Thing the Main Thing - One of the big mistakes that I made was to become the teacher. I devoted large blocks of time to coaching my new people. The problem with investing a lot of time with new people is that they end up with information overload. Give your new consultant a homework assignment and an explanation on how to complete it and then get out of the road. Keep your assignments simple and doable and have them commit to contacting you once the assignment is completed. Your primary mlm success strategy must be focus on recruiting and not spending hours teaching your team. As your group grows it may be necessary for you to hold weekly training sessions with your group so that you can leverage your time.



Most people fail to focus their efforts on income generating activities and as a result they never make any money – obviously not an MLM Success Strategythat you want as your own.
