In A Perfect World

In a perfect world you graduate from school, go on to university and graduate with honors. You then get introduced to a top leader in an MLM home based business and quickly rise to the top earning over 1 million a year. Next you, go out and meet the girl of your dreams, have two children-one boy one girl and raise them in a home that most people couldn’t even dream of. You have two cars [both brand-new] a motor home and a large 70 foot sailboat. You take one month off every year with your family to travel abroad. And your idea of having a tough week is when you have to spend a day sorting through the house maid resumes.

I never expected to have the perfect life when I became involved in network marketing and I’m sure you never did either, but I think you did expect to have more success than you’ve had. I feel fairly safe saying this because for most people involved in the industry statistics show that very few even sign up two people into their business. I want to share with you a little bit of my personal history because I know what it’s like to struggle in this business. By the time you have finished reading this post I will have also left you with some encouragement and an increased belief in yourself.

Are You Better At Watching Than Doing?

Did you ever sign up with an MLM home based business because you were so impressed with the presentation that you watched? I did, a great number of times! I suppose Mike Dillard would have defined me as being a beta network marketer as I was so easily influenced. I found that signing up with MLM companies was way easier than making money with them. After beating up all my friends and family pressuring them to join my latest and greatest business and my third attempt at success I actually earned an all expense paid trip to the company’s corporate ranch. I got to meet some very successful people in the business only to say goodbye to most of them a year later as the company went bankrupt.
I felt that I had made some major headway in figuring out this MLM home based business voodoo and so rather than quit I jumped into another one immediately. Personal note: not all companies are ethical. My next venture turned out to be a fiasco as I was removed from my sponsor and placed under another leader and despite my best efforts to have this injustice corrected I was unsuccessful. Like someone finding a mate on a rebound again I jumped into another business.

You Can’t Have Success Looking Through The Rear View Mirror

This business that came out of nowhere resulted in me having more success than I had had in the previous four businesses combined. It’s really easy to focus on the struggle and the pain that you go through emotionally every day as you try to put a smile on your face all the while feeling like a victim. But I can tell you from personal experience that the only way you’re going to succeed is when you decide to be a success. You can’t drive your car down the highway looking in your rear view mirror. If you know going in that it’s going to be tough and that it will be all you can do to just get through some of your days, but that it’s worth it in the end, you will be in the top 5%.
You see it’s not that the 95% can’t succeed, because they can! The success killers that takes them out of the game are their fear of failure and their ego. Let’s imagine for a moment that you have an MLM home based business you’re trying to build and the going is tough and everyone tells you you’re crazy to keep trying. It would be so easy to quit and everyone would say you did the right thing-after all everyone knows those things don’t work.

7 Horrible Worst Case Scenarios

But let’s imagine that you kept going what is the worst that could happen?
1. You get to hear a bunch of people say no.
2. You don’t get the fancy car or Rolex watch
3. You don’t get to cross the stage with the top income people
4. You don’t get to quit your job within six months like you had hoped.
5. You don’t get to take a trip to some tropical island
6. Your friends tell you that you got involved in this scam
7. You don’t earn a six figure income and work from home
I could go on and on and on, but really  just ask yourself this question: if I stay at my job will I hear the word no, receive the fancy car or Rolex watch, cross stage with top income people, get to work from home, have my boss send me to a tropical island all-expenses-paid, after 40 years of loyalty have enough money set aside to live comfortably and for my boss pay me a six-figure income for all of my due diligence?

Age 65 Broke or Dead or Both

Fact: most people retire dead or broke or both. In fact the majority of all people that retire at age 65 are unable to write a check for $5000. So even if you fail for the first 10 years (which statistically is unlikely – as most will reach the upper levels of their company’s compensation plan within seven years) so what! To me the biggest scam is the 40 year lie which is that if you show up for work on time, don’t phone in sick, be a loyal employee, then you will live a comfortable life and have a very solid financial retirement plan. Sorry-you’re better off going to Vegas!
I want you to imagine that you put in seven years with a particular MLM home based company and were now receiving $5-$7000 a month in residual income. How would it feel to you knowing that you could spend that $7000 every month and it would not touch the principle. Here is an exercise for you to complete: go to your local bank or your accountant and ask how much money you would have to have in the bank to be able to take out $7000 each and every month and it not reduce your principal investment.
Sure it’s going to be a struggle to be a success and sure you will fail and meet with rejection, but it’s worth it and you can do it! Don’t let fear or your ego prevents you from being all that you were intended to be. You have greatness within you not go out and let your light shine.
Oh one last thing, when you consider that 95% don’t do what I am suggesting but you will, you need to recognize that the price you’re going to pay for success is that you must become a leader and often it means standing alone. If 10,000 people were running to an exit I’m going to encourage you run the opposite way, because in business 95 % of the people don’t have the good sense to come out of the rain.

Simple MLM Success Strategy – Stand For What’s Right Not What’s Popular

Being a leader means to follow your gut and to be able to look in the mirror and save yourself I did what needed to be done and I didn’t let fear stop me. The only people that become successful are leaders and I know that you have Alpha Network Marketer in your blood. Go out and live your dreams, this is not a dress rehearsal be the star of your own movie [“Life”].
