The most powerful linking strategy is not having 2 way links (where you point a link to well ranking website and that site points back at your site) rather having well ranking sites pointing at you without the reciprocation as Google is aware that exchanges are typically an SEO ploy for ranking. So how do you get high ranking sites to want to link to your site? There are a number of ways you can do this but the easiest and perhaps the most effective way to do this fast is with Jon Leger’s 3Way Links .

Each article you write will have a link or web address that points to the article you wrote on your Blog. This is like having the Paparazzi working for you as these links let Google know who you are. The more links pointing to your Blog the more Google and other search engines will consider you an authority on your chosen topic/s. If you recall I mentioned that you have Google to refer to in the same way you would use as an encyclopedia, as you write more articles then your posts will rise to the top of the Google search results when people type in their search terms or key words.

In addition to writing articles you will want to take your articles and then turn them into videos, which also will add to your authority status. Tip: Video has more rating power than written articles, as people prefer to watch video than read. In the past doing a Power Point and adding a narration was effective, but now people prefer a person talking to them visually rather than just a voice making videoing yourself live a far superior approach. You don’t require any expensive equipment and a great place to start is purchasing a Flip Camera which run less than $200.00. You don’t want to sound rehearsed nor should you read off a script. Looking directly into the camera and speaking to it as though it were your best friend is going to have the best impact on your audience.

The second thing you will need is a video editing program which comes free on both Mac and PC although I recommend you purchase a copy of Camtasia once you have made your first 10 or 20 videos. Camtasia is very easy to run, has tons of video tutorials and does the best job of creating impressive videos, though it is a bit pricy. Your videos are not supposed to be Hollywood productions and in subsequent articles I will give you some do’s and don’ts so that you get the best results in your video creation.
