Stop Stressing Let’s Have Some Fun!

In the first in this mlm secrets on zero stress lead generation series I shared with you a direct approach in presenting your business to someone you believe would be interested in working with you. You have arrived at this conclusion due to a conversation you have had. The individual shared with you that he was looking at solutions to a money problem. In this post we are going to look at a couple of other approaches you can use that will give you two new ways you can approach people who have not expressed an interest but whom you would like to have join you.



The problem with approaching people that have not shared any problem with you is that you need to share your business in such a way you don’t sound pitchy or salesy. Another problem is that you may feel intimidated to present your business to this person because of their position in the community. Perhaps they are a Doctor or a Lawyer and you feel they may look down on your business without giving a serious look.

Indirect Approach

In the Indirect approach you would repeat the initial approach by calling the person or meeting the person and in conversation that is directed (in other words let the person know your reason for contacting him/her). Compliment the person and then ask the person if they would be open to letting you practice on them or have them listen to your presentation and give their feedback on it.


Because you are not asking the person to become your business partner or buy your products but instead only want a favor of them to allow you to practice your presentation they will be open to it. The great thing about this approach is that it does not put pressure on the person you are having look at your business and it does not put pressure on you. Your prospect will look at the presentation and silently be deciding if it is of interest and if the individual is intrigued the person will let you know.


We all know people that are cynics – (people who find fault with everything) these are not easy people to market to but if you are successful you may just find you have jet fuel in your business. You approach this person with the idea of having them look it over and if they can have them shoot holes in it. These type of people relish the opportunity to find fault and will often go to this kind opportunity like “bees to honey”. I do recommend that when you get back together with this person you bring with you your upline coach – someone that has been in the business and is experienced in objection handling.

Super Indirect Approach

The last approach I am going to share with you in this MLM Secrets zero stress lead generation approach is to ask this person you know for referrals to your new business. Explain to them that they would most certainly not be a good fit and that you are looking for someone that is eager to earn 2 or 3 thousand part-time or double that if they would go full time. Without question they will ask you what the business is DON’T EXPLAIN IT! Simply say that you understand that  it is only reasonable to know what they are presenting. Ask the person if they would be open to watch a DVD that explains the whole thing far more professionally than you could. They will try to pry it out of you …snippets like just tell me is it ….. Don’t do it.



Basic Steps In Reaching Out


    1.) Meet and connect
    2.) Sincere compliment
    3.) Ask for presentation
    4.) Confirm they will watch/listen
    5.) Confirm a follow up time
    6.) Close – either they are interested and join or you go next…

The mlm secrets to zero stress lead generation are not complicated and they can be both easy and fun if you apply these simple steps.
