MLM Success Strategy - Please No MLM Scam, Show Me The Money Part 2

Create Residual Income For Life

This is a frequent mantra in MLM and although it can happen it is almost as unlikely as finding a 4 leaf clover….. come to think of it maybe a 5 leaf clover. Why do you say this Chuck there are many people making huge residual incomes? Well that is not all that true when you consider the number of people entering the business and failing.

Fact : 97% of all those that join an MLM Fail so that would suggest that 3% have massive success but that is not true either since the majority of the residual income is paid to the top 1%.

Fact : The majority of all businesses including MLM companies fail within 5 years so even if you are in the top 3 % of the top residual income earners it is more likely that you will lose your residual income due to your brand new ground floor opportunity MLM Company going broke.

Fact : The Majority of people that join a Network Marketing company typically make up the lion share of your Residual generated income and when you consider that 97% quit within 93 days of joining you are going to find yourself replacing all the quitters on a monthly basis to even maintain what you have built. In one company that I was a part of I would work for 26 days recruiting like crazy just to replace the quitters sales volume so that my check would not take a dive. This meant if I was to have any positive growth at all it would happen in the last week.

Fact : Many MLM companies have what is called “Breakage” this term simply means that even though you have the same amount of business flowing through the books you have not qualified for some compensation requirement and either the residual you got the month before goes up in part to your upline or it is retained by the company which means your residual check is less.

If you are part of a company that requires you to have a specific organizational structure you could literally have more volume in sales going through your business each and every month but as people in key organizational places drop off you will actually earn less money.

Beware of The Claw

Some MLM companies pay out significant bonuses for generating new business on the books; however, you could find yourself in a situation where in a year you actually owe your company more than your commissions for a given month as your mlm company claws back the commissions they paid you. This of course can discourage even the most self confident marketer.   

The Power of 3

The circles and lines and amazing growth described in the Power of 3 whereby you sign up 3 people who sign up 3 people who sign up 3 people and so on for only 10 cycles and you now have about 240,000 people in your business and you are a millionaire are beginning to look a little unrealistic.

Now after all of this which I have shared with you still has you reading and not running for cover let me share with you some facts that will help you see why I love MLM.

You can exchange time for dollars and you can rest assured the amount you will earn in 10 years if you receive the same amount and you work the same number of hours. Most employers only pay their employees enough so that they don't quit but most companies lag behind in keeping their employees pay equal to the yearly increases in the cost of living which means that you will actually be earning more money in 10 years but not have the same buying power that you currently have. Wow, and people worry about an MLM Scam….

Fact : You only have a job until your employer says goodbye. 

Fact : You have no security as an employee even the police are getting layoff notices.

Fact : Your employer earns money off your efforts and of all those that work for him – you just get paid on what you do.

Fact : The social safety net has collapsed retirement pensions will not exist for many now and along with it proper medical care due to the exploding costs that are bankrupting thousands each year and in growing numbers.

The next time someone mocks you being in business for yourself and says “How is your get rich quick scheme coming along?”, correct them and say “It is a business and not a get rich quick scheme and then ask them how their never get rich scheme is working for them”.

I talk to people every day that are in their retirement years and cannot even write a check for $1000.00! Imagine working your JOB for 40 years and being in debt at the time you retire with no money to live off of. Now that seems like a scam to me!

How about spending 60 or 70 thousand on an education with no guarantee of a job or that you will even get a passing grade. Tomorrow I will keep my promise and share with you what happened to me in my continuing MLM adventure. 

MLM Success Strategy – There are no free rides and you will need to commit everything you have to succeed in life – at least with a business you have a chance to get ahead. Research your company before you join avoid acting on emotional impulse.
