Google Cannot Read Your Mind
Having written a four or 500 word document will do little for you if google does not know what you’re trying to talk about. Of the 500 words that you used to come complete your article, which words would best describe what you’re wanting to talk about. Google cannot read your mind it treats every word exactly the same. Think of Google has an encyclopedia, when someone does a search on google, google will look at its database and bring up what it believes to be relevant content. With this in mind, you need to choose words that represent the theme you are going after.
What Came First The Chicken Or The Keyword?
There has been an awful lot of discussion around the topic of what came first the chicken or the egg and though I don’t plan to contribute to this debate it does bring up an important point in the article writing. When we traditionally think about writing we generally start with a topic and something that may have triggered an inspiration-a conversation an event or perhaps a TV show that we watched. To be effective in your writing so that you are able to attract the right audience you must begin with keywords and then from your key words draw your inspiration. When I first started writing articles I made the mistake of writing content about topics that I felt passionate about with only minimal regard to keyword usage.
A Free Key Word Tool
There are a number of programs that are available for keyword research and search engine optimization. You don’t need to spend any money to begin with, I recommend you just checkout Google Keywords Tool. You can find the Google Keyword Tool by simply going to your google search engine and typing in Google Keyword Tool. Once you have registered to use it you simply type in a box a particular word that represents your topic that you want to write about. Google will immediately do a rapid search on the Internet and then give you all the relevant terms that are synonymous with the word you entered.
