My Network Marketing Leads - Went Into the Witness Protection Plan

Have you ever had network marketing leads that you had shared information about your business with and you were totally convinced they were going to join your business and then Poof !!!!! – Your Hot Prospect Was AWOL? If so, read on!

I recall a prospect that I had spoke to that was so excited about what I had to share, she told me that she could hardly wait until Thursday to attend the local meeting in her city because she wanted to get started right away. I had the conversation with her on a Saturday afternoon and I remember thinking to myself wow, she is going to be great! When she signs up into my business I am going to have one of the best leaders anywhere!

I live in Alberta Canada and this lead whom I thought was going to be absolutely top shelf not only did not join my business, she never even showed up for the meeting. I drove through a snowstorm that was so bad I had to follow a semi tractor-trailer to even get to the city which was 100 miles from my home. I tried to reschedule her for the following week but she had gone into the witness protection program.

I was very disappointed and perhaps even feeling a sense of discouragement as I saw other people shaking hands with their network marketing leads. I remember making every excuse possible in my own mind why this lady had chosen not to show up or call. So what do you do when you have a prospect that has shown significant interest in your business and yet when you go to follow up you are unable to reach them? What is the strategy that the top income earners would use in a case such as this?

Regardless of the network marketing business you are in, the strategy is always going to be the same. Reach out to the person one more time by phone and if they don’t answer leave a message with their request for them to call you on the number that you leave them.

There is absolutely no value in calling network marketing leads over and over again leaving countless messages because to do so reduces you to a desperate person. There are so many people looking for an income you do not have time to waste on people who do not make a habit of keeping their commitments or respect your time. So, next……..

There is an old saying that goes something like this: Some will, Some will not, So what, Someone is waiting to talk to you!

The most effective strategy that you can have to ensure that you talk quality network marketing leads, who are serious about working from home is to have so many mlm leads to talk to that you do not have time to invest worrying about, or feeling bad about a prospect that you can no longer reach.
