“My Proven Way” (MPW) is a simple and affordable alternative lead source for people in the MLM industry. Lead vendors put out landing pages and capture people’s contact information and then turn around and sell that information multiple times ranging from $2-$10 per sale. Often when people begin buying leads, they believe that they are the only person to have received that person’s contact information. In reality MLM leads are sold anywhere from two to a dozen or more times.
Obviously each time a prospect is contacted by a marketing representative a prospect is less willing to hear another business presentation. These leads are called “cold market prospects” and it is a fitting metaphor to call them cold, because when you call them on the phone these leads are often very suspicious. Creating a relationship with a prospect is the most ideal way to find people for our business. People want to do business with people that they know, like and trust. Calling a stranger at seven o’clock in the evening and expecting him to trust you and hand over his credit card, spending upwards of $300-$2000 is the same as panning for gold in your shower – not going to happen!
I began using the MPW lead source in February of 09 and immediately felt they stood out significantly from any other lead source that I had used in the past. Each week Troy sends me a package of leads to send e-mails out to each day. I have found that with approximately a $250 order per month I am receiving between 250 and 300 leads per month.
The leads that I am receiving as a result of my daily e-mails have a high conversion rate to my business. In fact the person that had recommended me to use the MPW system consistently signed up 15 to 20 people per month with these same leads. Because these leads have actually responded to an e-mail that they receive from me they already know my name and the business that I’m involved in. When I call these leads I have found them to be far more receptive to considering my business.
Troy conducts a free weekly sales and marketing call with all of the people that choose to dial-in.
