• Every conversation engaging always ends up with you talking about your business.

• Pressuring the person you’re talking to, join your business.

• Calling a friend in pretending to the Smalltalk and then laying the sales pitch on about your business.


• Inviting someone you care about the meeting but not telling us about a business opportunity.


• Avoid explaining your business on the fly, if you have someone who’s expressed an interest then set up a time that you can meet with the person and then go into it at that time in detail.


• Don’t get caught in the trap of 50 questions-you mention you’re in a business and your friend demonstrates an interest in your business and you go through an entire presentation in the middle of a parking lot. Your business presentation ends up sounding like a cheap sales pitch.


• Rather than approach people that you know by trying to sell them into your business ask them if they would be willing to listen to presentation and tell you if they think it would work and if they would be willing to give you some referrals if they liked what they heard. In this approach you will find zero resistance because everyone loves to give their opinion. You may find them asking you why you didn’t think they would be a fit for the business since you didn’t approach them to join but only wanted their opinion.


Being successful in is not an accumulation of tactics that you apply on people it’s about helping people get what they want so that you get what you want. What you value about your business may not be of the same importance to your prospect. So when you approach your prospect spend most of your time listening and asking questions. By doing this it won’t be long before the person reveals a problem that you me able to help the person with through your business opportunity.
