Funny Fisherman MLM Lead Generation – Fish Dont Bite on Hooks They Bite on the Bait



You have a great business opportunity and you are great at MLM lead generation yet when you present your opportunity to people they don’t join, now is that frustrating or what? In this article I’m going to give you some ideas on how to increase your sign-up ratio by as high as 50%.



When I first got involved in network marketing I was marketing telecommunication services and we had very competitive prices. In many cases I could offer the people that I knew much lower prices than they were presently paying. Despite this fact, many people that I called were reluctant to use my telecommunication services.



When I presented my business opportunity to people I knew, and showed them the amount of income that they could generate marketing telecommunication services I was surprised to note that only a small percentage were interested. Of the people that did join only a small portion actually went out and presented the business to more than a couple people. This also amazed me given the amount of money that a person could earn if they went out and marketed it.



At the beginning of this article I said that fish don’t bite on Hooks they bite on the Bait, so what do you suppose I meant? Originally I thought that people would want to join a solid business that had a great income potential and if I do a great job at presenting it, they would join with me. As it turned out I was wrong, people are not looking for amazing amazing businesses with great compensation plans.



Maybe some time ago, folks were interested in great businesses and stupendous compensation plans but over the years people have been burned. Somebody has come along and told a prospect how great their company was and how awesome the compensation plan, recruited them and then dropped them as they moved on to find another to enlist.



I have found that people are far more savvy now and they are not as interested in the fact that it company is debt-free with some amazing compensation plan guaranteed to make your eyes pop out. When a person considers getting involved in a network marketing business they are looking for a solution to their problem. Consider for a moment the differences between features and benefits. Features are what your business has but it is the benefits which are individual and unique to each person looking at your business that will grab their attention or not.



Most people look at network marketing with a very skeptical eye simply because they have heard of so many people trying to make an income with a multilevel marketing company and failed as a result of not being successful with MLM lead generation. These folks simply don’t want to be another notch on some recruiter’s belt. They don’t know how to be successful at marketing and they really can’t afford spend the next five years trying to figure it out. People looking at marketing often are looking at it as a resolution to a financial problem.



Learning how to do MLM lead generation effectively is it science and can take a significant period of time to become competent with. A ploy often used by top recruiters is to make network marketing appear to be very easy to do and all too often when the new network marketer steps out to make his fortune he fails.



If the new network marketers were all prepared to spend the next five years buying courses, purchasing advertising and going to training conferences, the press that network marketing gets would be much better. People are looking for leaders who care about them and will take the time to ensure that their new people are valued even after the initial commissions have been paid out.



What is your unique selling position and why would somebody want to join with you versus joining with somebody else? Are they joining with you because you have a better company? Are they joining with you because you have a better compensation plan? Are they joining with you because you are more successful? Are they joining with you because they feel you care about them and are prepared to help them succeed? MLM lead generation strategies can find you the people to present your business to, but will the people find you to be somebody that they would want to join with.
