Do You Know “How To Pickem”?
My MLM Success strategy for you today may well be the most important one you will ever be exposed to on this site. I am sure you have heard the cliché “You sure know how to pickem!” There is Soooo much hype that exists in the marketing arena and every so called expert will claim to be marketing the next block buster success story. They will tell you that timing is everything and if you get it now you will be getting in on a ground floor opportunity. If you are not absolutely positive you know how to pick the right company read the rest of this article.
Myth – “Timing Is Not Everything”
While it is true that timing is important it is certainly not everything. For example being the first person to board the Titanic on its fateful cruise was not an advantage in getting home safe. 95 % of all businesses fail within 10 years and the majority of them have their windows boarded up in their first 5 years. In the US approximately 1000 MLM companies go out of business and many of them never went out of Pre-Launch.
Consistent Effort
When you consider that the average person that joins an MLM company quits within their first 90 days and then add the failure rate of MLM companies it would make sense to give some thoughtful consideration to the company you work with. You can work hard and you can also work smart and then there is my favorite MLM success strategy – work smart while you are working hard. It should be very evident by now that being a success in business is clearly no accident. You will need to put forward a consistent effort and continually improve you r marketing skills with ongoing self-development. Choosing the right company is an absolute must.
Be On Guard – The Sharks Are Circling
Be aware that each time you turn your downline over to a new company or system you risk losing your team to the marketing sharks that are circling to take advantage of struggling network marketers. It is common with the use of systems to downplay the complexity and time required for significant results to occur. I heard one leader say on a Webinar that he always does his best to make what he does appear easy. A friend of mine said it is really easy to wire a home and taken out of context you might think it is especially when you know for a fact this guy doesn’t lie.
How Many Times Are You Prepared To Start Over?
It will take time for you to learn the lessons in marketing you will need to know to hit the top. While there are a few that seem to just make it happen without effort they are the exception and not the rule. Marketing is a profession and has skills that must be acquired; however like in the case of my electrician friend once you learn your lessons it is easy. The question you must ask yourself is how many times are you prepared to start over from scratch. Each time a company fails you are left with no income and a disintegrating team.
Do Your Homework – How To Check Out Your Company
While many would disagree I personally recommend you choose a company that has made it past the 5 year mark and has an “A” or higher rating with the Better Business Bureau. Don’t waste your time doing Google searches on the companies you are interested in because the reviews are nothing more than ruses intended to sway you to a a different company product or service.
