When I first got involved in network marketing, I had no MLM success strategy. I received in the mail a package from my new company which included: a couple of CDs, some brochures a breakdown of the compensation plan, a cost outline for the services I was marketing and the do’s and don’ts list. It all felt rather overwhelming initially and my first instinct was to quit before I even started. One of the coaches that I had in my business shared with me a simple mantra that I still repeat to myself 13 years later “If it’s to be, it’s up to me”. Having been employee for two decades I waited for a couple of days expecting somebody to tell me what to do. I probably could’ve waited several months but after two days of waiting, it occurred to me that I needed to figure this thing out myself and make a few calls as needed. Don’t wait for your phone to ring if there’s something you don’t know call someone and find out. Understand that this is your business and you’re responsible for your own success. If you bought a McDonald’s franchise you would not be phoning up Dairy Queen and ask them how to make the best hamburgers.
Your best MLM success strategy begins with understanding and preparation. We all want to be successful and become that way with the least amount of bumps and bruises; however, it is not going to be easy for you. So now that we have that out of the road we can get over feeling like life has singled you out or that you don’t have what it takes or that it will never happen for you. This article is not a breakdown on how to do your more about having the proper mindset.
Step One: Decide what you want.
You need to know the reason why you are going to do a network marketing business. Write-down in detail exactly what you want your business to provide you. In addition write-down why is important that you are successful in achieving your goal. If you have minor goals than the first minor challenge will have you out of your business as quickly as you came in.
It is not how many times you get knocked down, it is how many times you get up!
I am a huge Rocky fan and always have been perhaps because I always lean on the side of the underdog and I admire courage …. the kind of courage this series depicts. Quitting on life is so easy to do and we can always find so many people to agree with giving up. But if you have the fire in your gut to fight the fight and not give in you can win. Your success or failure is not the fault or result of your upline or your down-line. Commit yourself to success and know that life will knock you down over and over and will take you out the minute you decide to stay down.

When I first got involved in network marketing I was marketing telecommunication services and we had very competitive prices. In many cases I could offer the people that I knew much lower prices than they were presently paying. Despite this fact, many people that I called were reluctant to use my telecommunication services.

I’ve noticed that all people who have found success in wealth have a certain pattern in common… and I’ve found an equation that you can replicate to follow the same pattern of success.

It was a really great comparison that I have seen happen over and over again over the years. You share the business opportunity with your prospect and you give them a picture of the kind of money that can be made and they are excited. The new rep dives into some training info and is already counting the windfall of cash that will soon hit the bank account.
