Every day millions of people in North America head off to work that for many are jobs they don’t like. There’s a lot of discussion right now regarding old-school [warm market / belly to belly] and using new school [Internet marketing]. Bruce Lee a famous martial artist of the 70s once said in one of his movies it doesn’t matter what style of self-defence you use as long as it teaches you to protect yourself. That same philosophy also applies to your MLM business. A good friend of mine and business associate used to always say Chuck if you want to be successful you’ve got to fish out of all sides of the boat.

It is a matter of record that in every economic downturn there is a small group of individuals that prosper to an extreme degree. The masses tend to focus on lack and limitation and as a result they receive that which they think the most about. Over the past 10 years I spoke to a great number of people about becoming entrepreneurs and working for themselves and I have found people fall into two basic groups. The first group are very eager to tell me why working for themselves is not financially viable and my home business could not possibly work for them in their community. The second group and significantly smaller in number, are interested in working for themselves and actively consider and in many cases partner up with me.


In our society we are conditioned to look for what’s wrong and not for what is right.

When we think about creating goals we often think of New Year’s resolutions and broken commitments to lose weight or quit smoking or quit drinking or some other vice. Every year we joke about what we’re going to accomplish in the New Year; however, the trouble is we don’t take our commitments seriously. So why do we make resolutions and then within a week or two up?



We give up because were not prepared to pay the price. Bob Proctor said that when we set goals one of the first things that we ask our self is: “Am I able?” Both science and theology both agree that human beings have infinite potential, so then the answer is absolutely I am able. However the bigger question is “Am I willing to pay the price?”
